Microstock Photography

Making your pictures pay for your hobby
Wednesday 20 July 2011, S$180 (see discount or sign up now)

Barely 4 years into photography, Berthold has effectively used microstock photography to fund his hobby without incurring his wife’s wrath! We’re talking about funding 2 pro camera bodies with L lenses, models and studio facility rentals purely through the sale of pictures on microstock websites.

Participants will understand what it takes to make photos sellable and why photos get rejected. They will kickstart their stock collection with a portfolio review by Berthold, learn about the stringent inspection process and how to sail through the technical requirements. Berthold will give editing and shooting tips for keeping photos in synch with current trends.

Berthold is an exclusive contributor (with over 25,000 downloads on his page) at istockphoto.com, one of the most popular microstock photo sites. He is also the exclusive videographer for iStockphoto. He currently lives in Paris with his wife and kids. His works have appeared in websites all over the world.
